Susan Patschak stands at the forefront of Fawkes Financial Services as our esteemed Founder and CEO. A Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and an alumnus of the prestigious University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Susan's academic foundation laid the groundwork for her illustrious career
Susan's professional journey is marked by significant leadership roles and pioneering contributions to the insurance industry. Before establishing Fawkes Financial Services in April 2020, Susan demonstrated her expertise and leadership as the Senior Manager of Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services at EY, where she continues to make seasonal contributions
Her tenure at Florida Specialty as Co-Founder and CEO is particularly noteworthy. There, she managed all operations, fostering robust investor and regulatory relations, and skillfully handling the company's reinsurance purchasing. This role underscored her deep commitment to the Florida insurance market, a commitment that continues to influence her endeavors at Fawkes Financial Services.
Susan's international experience includes her critical role in the startup of Canopius Bermuda, where her efforts were recognized, making her one of the top 20 "Women to Watch" in the industry by Reinsurance Magazine. Her extensive background also includes impactful positions at Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd., where she served as Executive Vice President and COO, contributing significantly to the company's strategic and operational excellence
